Exercises are in general suggested for healthy living. But for weight loss, exercises are important workouts to lose weight. We see many people getting obese as they grow in age. While very few of them are obese since childhood.

Yoga: Yoga is a wholesome exercise for both mind and body. Mind is the one which regulates the physiology to a large extent. Yoga help keep mind under control and also relieves stress and helps it to keep body under control. So if the physiology is fine tuned by mind, then natural body weight is retained any excess body weight is lost naturally.

Jogging: Many prefer it as it is handy, inexpensive and can be down both outdoors and indoors (tread-mill).   Jogging produces good amount of physical agitation in the entire body and help to burn out high level of calories due to rapid respiration and muscle activity. But this may be strenuous to very obese candidates and for old age people.

Walking: This is also a friendly exercise suitable for all the age groups. It is even inexpensive method and highly recommended health substitute.

Swimming: This is the exercise of highest degree and is a great work out. It is less strenuous on the individual body portions but a great exercise for the whole body. Swimming helps to burn out a great deal of calories and also mind refresher compared to other exercises. This is a bit expensive and not easily accessible always. This even requires prior training if one does’t know how to swim. It is also not recommendable for old age people and those with lung insufficiency.

Gym: This is a good workout which burns out a great deal of calories. But this is expensive and requires expert advise to practice. This is specially suitable for youngsters and adults but not easy to practice for middle aged group and old people.
